Lost Love
Silver as the rain,
Sharp as icy blades,
I only feel the pain,
As I slowly start to fade.
The sky is getting darker,
Or maybe it's just my mind--
You're suddenly moving farther,
With the endless flow of time.
My hand is reaching for you,
But I don't feel your touch.
What did I do,
To lose your beautiful love?
Maybe you're just sad,
And need to be alone,
Or maybe you're just worried,
For I must reap what I've sewn.
But in the end,
I think I've gone 'round the bend,
And this time we can't pretend,
That all my scars don't matter.
I'm almost gone,
Are you still there?
Do you still love,
My blood-stained hair?
I know you don't,
So I close my eyes,
And let the darkness surround me,
And take me to the skies.
And take me to the skies.

Summary: For me, this poem was about someone who had a love, but was also very depressed and tormented at the same time. So she's pretty much on death's door step after being bullied and such, and she's calling out to her love, but he's left her. Just like everyone else in her life has. This poem can have different meanings for different people, though, so take from it what you will!
Enjoy(:
