Exiled By Blood
At first glance you see
A proud group
A loving family
But, take another loop
And look closer
You'll see the disdain in their eyes
The distance between the rooster
And listen to their well said lies
This is blood at its worse
With angry shrugs and nicks
But that is not what hurts
Stare into the thick
And there do you see it
The space where they should be
A gap they should fit
A gap left to me
You see them huddled together
And me stranded alone
They believe its better
Giving me the chilled tone
But, now do you see
When you glanced
When you stared closely
My hunched over stance
I'm away from you
And their away from me
There's nothing you can do
But, at last now you see
