Cosmic Renewal
A droplet of water dripped on my head
As a splash from a wave rolled off a leaf
It danced across my color of brunette
As a bird sang, calling "will you follow me?"
Into the clearing and in the unknown
Dirty water cleans mud off my feet
But its fresh tracks dissolve onto stone
Of the clear rivers bottom of sharp pebbles beneath
Snaking its way through a dark tunnel of fear
The arms of trees pinch and pull my skin
Shadowing creatures of evil creep near
As the forgotten bird wails out it's din
Startling a screaming fall to the ground
A rush of steps pound into my head
Prodding my eyes to see what's around
A twinkle of stars in the twilight instead
Comets of yellow golden up the black skies
That swirl with the blinking light of a hope
As an invisible pattern drops a surprise
Of a playful, wet touch upon my nose
The evening separates into two deep eyes
That search for the story of my night
The journey to find the impression of his cry
Belonging to my next venture of life
