Take Control or Die
I look to the skies,
They let me in,
my eyes fill with sunlight,
my hair tangles in the wind,
I feel myself trying to fly,
the wings struggling to break through my skin,
i stand on the tips of my toes,
and breathe the whole world in,
With the world in my lungs,
i reach a hand into the darkness,
and retrieve a handful of stars,
and otherwise, unnamed planets and dimenions
for a second, i just stare,
at the universe in my hands,
all that evr was, right in my two hands, i could do whatever i wanted with it.
i could rearange the galaxy,
i could exhale the planet earth, and everything could be my way,
which would be a sudden first,
i took my time deciding, what to make of this life,
wether or not to give people freedom, or allow the stars to shine at night,
To give the animals room to run, to give the waves a shore to roll, or wether or not to give the privlage to the sun burn its gold,
all of this, was my decison, i had to make it work, to put things back to the way they where, or to create it on my own,
by myself i could not choose, becasue this life seemed way to big, for a girl to make on her own,
so i looked to God, and he looked to me, together we would decide,
wether or not to make this place,
based upon our pride,
i let him pick most everything,
for God is always right,
but i choose just one thing,
how to live my life.
