Beating me to death
I thought it was love at first.
I never felt alive.
He treated me like a queen.
I loved his lust and pride.
He was a superior male with a confident of glee.
I couldn't keep up with the fame and something changed in me.
I used to never let a man put his hands on me but he goes ahead and punches freely.
I tried to runaway and get out of that home but I am 4'11 and he is full grown.
I tries to tell my mom and I tried to tell a friend but I thought it would be easier to just play pretend.
I was laying in bed on that cold December night when he came home and decided to pick a fight.
He rolled on over with drugs in his soul..... he beat me till I was black and blue then threw me in the snow.
I stayed out there with me bloody and a mess.
I will always be controlled until they lay me down to rest.
