Time's A Glare
Your shell on the outside is cracked, worn, and torn
Inside the truth hides as strong as a storm,
Judgments and eyes like daggers so sharp,
Aim for the scars by-passing the heart.
Shrinking your motive, diminish your drive, future looks empty with nothing inside.
Just to be honest I don’t want the lies, swelling up surging and breaking inside,
Tearing the skin off one tear to another, inside a light burns so hidden from others,
Hidden but moving and searing the rain from the eyes of a lost girl upset by this train,
Time keeps on moving, the stations not far, happiness is out there just don’t fall apart.
