Everything Ends In Dust
The darkness has settled onto the surface
I've cried all of the tears I have left in me
I may not be able to look you in the face
But that is simple because I don't want you to change who I want to be
There once was a light that helped guide us through the day
It has gone away with the wind
I don't want to find a way
I am sick and tired of feeling pinned
This ends now with a cut that is still fresh
It ends not with a scream, but an internal shout
This time I refuse to press refresh
Do us both a favor and don't start to pout
Everything is lost, including the trust
Everything ending in a thick layer of dust
