SUMMERTIME SADNESS
One stormy night, I remembered
A pair of eyes that were my guide
To our future...
The moon rose fat and yellow in attire
And a whiff of jasmine lent magicality
To the air...
I stepped onto the sand, in direction
Of the sound of crashing waves
Heart pounding in my ears....
The breeze was tantalizing my senses
As I got enveloped by the darkness
Tasting salty tears...
Your missing presence was reminder
To the questionable behavior of mine
And to my haste...
I clung closer to myself in regression
Trying to mask my desperation
For your taste...
