I hear the whistles blowing
I hear the whistles blowing throughout the noisy gym
The ref on his stand watching the play with precision
The players cheering each other on and keeping each other up
The coaches yelling commands to help their team win the prize
The parents arguing every call that doesn't go their way
Teams warming up and jamming out to get ready for the big game
And when the final whistle blows
The ref is relieved that his job for the day is done
