The Sun is empowering on icy winter nights,
Yet reigns over him on sultry summer days.
Showered with disregarded salvation,
He lives his life continuously complacent.
Yet content with being kind,
His charitable savior remains on her elevated throne.
Always seeking appreciation,
Yet never receiving it.
She can be deadly yet gives him life,
Choosing to love rather than to hate.
Neglected time and time again,
Yet still lighting up his entire sky.
