Dear Society MAG
Dear society, my hair does not define me.
So why do you even stare?
Giggles behind me, because of what I wear.
How do you think that is even fair?
Little comments, pesky like a fly
Wondering to myself as I look to the sky,
Why oh why do you label me?
And try to disable me?
Based solely on appearance
Because my shoes may have been on clearance
You can try to change me into something I’m not
But I love who I am
And that’s what I’ve got
