If you happen to be...
If you ever find yourself driving
Be careful where you wander
Because you might find a sleepy, little town
Shrouded by night.
Follow the dimly lit street and
You will find me
Sorely, sulking alongside many zombie-like
creatures.
You will see what could be blood
Drizzling from their cold lips
When in reality
it’s just saliva.
If you walk into a room,
They will have their heads in there hands
With their eyes glazed over,
Longing for an escape
From this eternal boredom.
A sound pierces the air
Calls to them like a mother bird calling her babies to her.
Bit by bit, they walk through the halls
Groaning underneath their breath
Going to what must be an identical room
To do the same thing.
This place is the local high school
And there is no escape.
