In class,

Silence,

The clock slowly ticks, ticks, ticks,


Then,

I hear a noise,

Click click, click click, click click,

A pen,

It continues its click click, click click, click click,


I try to focus through it,

Try to do my work,

Can’t think,

Can’t write,

I start hearing more,

The pencils,

Scribble scribble scribble,

The colds,

Cough cough cough,

My heart is racing

Thump thump, thump thump

Rage,


I can’t stand it anymore,

The sounds,

I get angry,

My face turns red,

Then I snap,


I attack,

Bash, bash, bash,

Smash, smash, smash,

Yell yell yell

Scream, scream, scream


The clock in detention slowly ticks, ticks, ticks.
