And maybe there’s something magical
About sketchy girls and lipstick boys,
Testosterone boys and harlequin girls,
And everyone else in between
Finding love and community and
Home
Through music.
But maybe that’s it, maybe the music
Is a home
In itself.
Maybe that’s my place, maybe
I need to make myself a home
In the words that flow off your tongue, maybe-
Maybe I already have one.
