Favorite Quote:
"A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory."
- Leonard Nimoy

Peasantry –

Trapped inside dirt castles,

Scrutiny of Him,

Jester’s laughter shying

Administered dosage.

Dreams of the throne,

Kennedy’s Camelot,

Arthur’s Round Table,

His Alter.

Picturesque figure

Of heavenly realms,

Twitched finger,

Forms bow as canyons.

Creator’s judgment,

Inebriated upon veneration.

Each eye captivated,

Each sigh dissipated,

Not to serve but be served;

Lives fall for the maker,

Idealized bloodshed –

Hardwired for exaltation.

The author's comments:

President John Fitzgerald Kennedy's legacy has been painted by the glorious depicition of King Arthur's Camleot. Years after his untimely death, President Kennedy is still remembered as one of the most beloved and venerated figures in American history; to not acknowledge this would be a disservice to the visions he crafted for his loving subjects.
