The Hunger
You're like a drug
I'm hooked
and can't quit you.
You're like a drug:
you make me hungry,
hungry for more.
I say I hate you
but youre a drug
a drug that doesn't fulfill.
You have a hunger in your eyes,
one that can't be satisfied.
Every time I see your gaze
I see that familiar flash of hunger:
the look of craving
and hint of desire.

Writing this poem helped me quote with things that were hurting me inside, things that were confusing me and causing a war, one that shouldn't have happened.
