Almost missed the due date
Almost missed the door
Almost forgot my money
Almost out of gas
Almost fell down the stairs
Almost broke my toe
Almost hit by that ball
Almost missed the day
Almost got out without a scratch
Almost left without crying
Almost didn’t leave on time
Almost wrote a poem
Life is full of almosts
Every single one
But I almost didn’t realize
Almost isn’t all there is
