Uncaged
When I write I am
uncaged,
flying free.
I'm a bird, and I'm
soaring,
dancing in the air,
lifted high and higher
by the breeze.
When I fly,
I let the
wind
control me, the breeze
urging me to thrust out
my wings.
I feel strong and
I am strong.
Writing
fills me with strength.
I am flying high,
toward the stars and the
moon,
and the galaxy and
planets beyond.
Higher
and
Higher.
Unlock my cage.
Let me
FLY.

I am writing about how I feel whenever I write, and how it seems like I am being lifted off the world's surface, and into a magical land made by me and my words. Whenever I write, I feel like the freest bird, the happiest animal, the strongest wind, lifting others and myself high above the ground, in search of something new.
