Street at Severne
Dark it was on that chilled night,
No people in sight but one.
One small boy,
His shadow grew tall as he drew near me,
He had deep black eyes that feared me.
The boy stopped as worry had filled the air.
I had captured the moment just before he’d grab me
The street lights did no justice,
This was a man about to kill me.
I ran and ran till morning
Coming back to find my drawing
He’d drawn himself within.
