I'm Okay
I'm Okay
Don't worry about me
Don't be scared about the marks on my arm
It helps me feel something
Don't be concerned about the amount of time I am spending with my friends
I'm not actually spending it with them
Don't be afraid that I'll kill myself
Even death couldn't solve all my problems
But most of all
Don't act like you care
Because every day you know exactly what I am going through
And even when I say "I'm Okay"
You know the truth
And you refuse to acknowledge it
But don't panic
I'm Okay

This poem kinda sums up how a lot of people with depression feel. Whether it's true or not. We all have someone in our lives that at least has an inkling, but we feel like they really don't care. And usually, they "care" so they can have a clear conscious, and so it makes them feel warm and happy on the inside. Like they are "trying". We all know the truth.
