To the White Men In Office

America is the land of the free
that it what the white men in office say
ignoring the people who are incarcerated
the people who die for their religion
the people who strave for perfection
the people too afraid to be honest
too afraid of the consequences
many are lucky
to have food
family
shelter
life
I am lucky
but not free
while they are imprisoned
