The Oufit
I remember my first day of high school.
I just went to the mall last weekend to pick out an outfit, which I thought looked cool.
I wanted to wear something different, something special.
The outfit was anything but that.
Ripped jeans with a white sweater and sneakers.
It was horrible and I thought to myself.
Why am I wearing this? I've never worn jeans before this day in my life.
The whole day I was scared, wondering what people would think.
And people didn’t like it.
My friends made fun of me.
Calling me gay boy and fag.
At the time that hurt me a lot.
It felt as if their words hit me like a shot.
But it was all good, I made it through the day.
Right when I got home, I threw the outfit away along with the embarrassment it brought me.
Except, to this day, people still remember that outfit.
And I’ll never live it down.
But now it’s funny and we all joke around.

This is about my first day of school outfit and how I felt throughout the day. I feel everyone can connect to this and wearing a bad outfit that they regret ever puttiing on.
