What is a warrior

Without something to protect?

What is an artist

In a world painted grey?

What is a singer

In a world too bleak for song?

What is a pen

Without stories to tell?

What is a villain

With nothing to gain?

What is a story

Without characters, places, or thoughts?

What is a dream

Without a dreamer to care?

What is pain

Without blood and mind to attack?

What is joy

In a world gone black?

What am I

Without words to write?

What is humanity

Without use for minds?

What is  life

Without lives to live

Pain to feel

Joy to feel

Colors to see

Stories to write

The spectrum, dark and light, to hold

i want to hate past self or yell or something. "what is a dream without dreaers to care?" can somebody please answer that? i want to know whats left of- never mind I wont finish that thought.
