Wake up and see the wolf
Wake up and hear the howl
Wake up and hear the song that chills you
Wake up and hear the throbbing, aching call
Wake up and see the faint outline of ruffled fur
Wake up and see the heave of it's chest
Wake up and see the throat stretched high
Wake up and wonder, "Who is he calling for?"
Wake up and wonder, "Why is he alone?"
Wake up and wonder, "Why do I feel the same?"
Wake up and wonder, "Why do I want to howl?"
Wake up and realize, Both of you miss somthing
Wake up and realize, Both of us want it back
Wake up and sing to the moon

I don't really know if this is an acurate depiction of how one could feel if they lost somthi ng important, because recently all ive lost is my hat
which is more annoying than sad
so this is a tribute to the people who did lose something and want it back, I guess
