White. Boundless whiteness. The world
has never seemed so clear. Crusted corners
soak up dust, seethe and roil at your touch.
Click. Click. The pen’s ink sloshes within,
crimson blood turned charcoal, flows
from your veins into the ballpoint—wait.
Pause. Reflect, before you press your mark
onto the perfect space. Listen close, and eventually
you’ll hear it whisper, yes.
