Lazy Farm
Our Lazy Farm,
Where the grass is greener as it can be.
While the cherry blossoms smile,
As daffodils flaunt an ebullient style.
The monarch butterflies flutter along the
river path,
Dancing dandelions sway in the breeze.
The bullfrog swam in the sticky,
painted swampland.
I lay down watching the little animals,
As the farmer milked the cow.
For I could see the little, strong Tomcat,
Trapping the baby mice,
You see here, life is very sweet and nice.
For I dreamt about being on a farm.
I woke up and realized it was just a dream.
