Golden Meadow
The golden meadow
a place of hope
I am free
to roam and
be me
I sing the song
of hope and peace
while I run and play
in the golden meadow
that protects me
I am always happy
and I am free
in the golden meadow that loves me
with it's many wild animals
yet non harm me
and the perfect warmth
that shelters me
with the perfect world
yet so mesmerising
and yet
after I leave
I am no longer
in the perfect world
that awaited me
Its cruel and cold
with savage beasts
so I run back to the golden meadow
and its perfect beauty
and it always welcomes me

Thank you so much for your kind words!
Everyone runs from their fears and pain. I wrote this about a figurative escape. Where the girl escapes the cruel world and enters the more perfect world and every time she leaves the meadow, she can't stay in the cruel world and so she goes back into the meadow. This is for those who have felt that they need an escape and they have related to this poem in any way.
