Never enough
Never Enough
thats all I hear
a college acceptance letter
opened with tears
of sadness
for no feeling of acomplishment
just complaints from the parents
but never a proud moment
for that would give a gold star
and those are nearly only at four
and no more
don't seek the pride
for it causes heartbreak
and sheltered pain
a job overdone
but tears come
for the harsh words rain down
saying do it better and clean it up
but a thank you
would be asking for too much
A's litter the report card
with a 4.00 GPA
but a you should have a 4.5 GPA
tears are coming
becuase I tried
but it is Never Enough
to recieve the precious gold star
so every night in a hope I pray
and I hear a calming voice
I don't hear the words
Never Enough
but I love you and you are worth everything
look up and know
I love you
and
You Are Enough

I know a lot about wishing for a complimant form a parent and so I wrote this to say don't give up and know there is a loving person, or something that tells you, you are enough.
