Your Own Pace
There is a universe
There is a timeline
Trying to understand my verse
Force it, the meaning isn’t worth a dime
There is the brain
There is our mind
The meaning, your trying to claim
It shouldn’t be forced, I will remind
Trying to comprehend
Thoughts are too fast
So you’ll pretend
Oh! It’s about your Ex-Boyfriend
Smh
I share it to who I trust
Sometimes I may mistaken
Listen closely, if you must
The art may soon, be forsaken
Think too hard, don’t hurt your head
I see the confusion on your face
Just listen, breath again
For the meaning will be found, at your own pace
Some people want a straight up meaning of a poem, but they don't realize, They've already read it. Every poem I write I believe is pretty explanatory🤷🏻♀️
