I Want To
I want to write a poem
I want to understand
I want to get to know him
I want to not be bland
I want to accept
I want to feel my feelings
I want to forgive and forget
I want share the power of healing
I want to help the homeless
I want to share and give
I want to think they are not hopeless
I want to give them a reason to live
I want to believe these things are possible
I want to look pretty
I want it to be real, if it was, that’d be remarkable
But we can’t have it all, what a pity
