Christmas Morning
In the morning I wake up and look out my window,
Fresh untouched snow sparkling in the sunrise
Snow trickling off trees from the wind shaking the branches
The twinkling lights we strung along the rooftop
The huge icicles hanging from the roof dripping
Stepping out of my warm bed,
On to the cold wood floors
The smell of pine from the tall tree
Covered in warm white twinkle lights
Packed with silver and gold ornaments
With presents of all sizes filled the floor beneath
Wrapped with red and green paper and bows
The happy look on everyone's face
Moments later the sea of wrapping paper filled the floor
The rest of the day was filled with joy and love.
