Afraid Of The Ocean
Fear bundled up inside me,
As I laid under the beach tree,
I know I can't stay forever,
I have to set myself free,
The sand underneath my fingers crunched,
I then tied my hair in a bunch,
Stood up to witness families in the cool blue water happier than ever,
Some families enjoying their sandwich lunch,
I can't believe I'm a coward,
Sat under that tree for hours,
Ignoring the ocean galore,
Just looking at the sand towers,
But still,
I am afraid to swim
