My Sight is All a Blur
My sight is all a blur
My taste and smell is numb
And the only thing I can hear,
Are the questions swirling around my head.
Should we go?
Should we stay?
Are we making
A big mistake?
Was it better there
Or better here?
Better now,
Or then?
I can’t pay attention,
To anything,
Anymore.
Why is it
That I’m the only one
Who seems to be having this trouble?
Why is it,
That I’m the only one
Who seems to have these inward struggles?
My sight is all a blur,
From all the things I’ve seen.
My taste and smell are numb
From all the things I’ve said and done!
Why is it
That these questions
Won’t
Stand
Still
Just long enough to focus?
