Crowded
Crowded
Is the shattered heart that beats within my heavy chest
I find myself crying
Eyes craving rest
Stuck on this tear stained fabric sofa
My soul yearns for her back
To hold her safe, my precious girl
I wish I could fallback
My memories collide with a sudden feeling
I need to get out, my mind begs for healing
Hunger consumes each and every thought
My screaming stomach begins to rot
Crowded
Are the busy streets filled with paper
Missing, they say
I cannot escape her
I dash into a shop
Seeking a patch for my broken heart
I take a sip of soup and the memories start
Memories of birth, laughs, happiness, joy
This unexpected soup flashes everything back
I sip and sip and sip and sip
Searching for happy memories to drown my hardship
Crowded
Is my damaged brain
Loaded with grief, unescapable pain
