Smoking in the rain
I'm smoking in the rain
Ain't got no worries execpt for the cherry to burn out
Smoking in the rain thank god it's not a drought
Just listening to water pour from the sky showing god's gift is green after
Letting my eyes wander into the lost souls of time while I'm smoking in the rain
It just makes me wonder the lost souls as they dance with every drop that falls from the midnight sky as I'm smoking in the rain
How many people was killed by this blessing we call rain
We can't live without the rain but we die in it
As I sit in the rain smoking my last cigarette I wonder if I'm going to be next
The rain clouds reside the rain calms with my teary blue eyes
Why does something so magnificent have to be brutal at the same time
Smoking in the rain
Smoking in the rain
The rain is gone it has settled and I'm still here smoking in the rain the lost souls that once where lingering dancing in the rain have departed with every inch of tearing terror pouring water
I see it is not yet my time the cherry has finally burnt out
