Not My Summer
I hate I am supposed to glow up
Make myself brighter in beauty for the world to find worth
I hate I am supposed to have crazy stories about the fast-paced life I live
When time feels as if it has slowed down to taunt me,
I hate that I have to come back chronicling my love life
When my trivial heart breaks feel like the world has shattered
I hate that I have to face my future when I come back
When I am not ready to see the light
I hate that it's not my summer
