I hear it
In the distance
In the far
In the near
It beeps
And gets louder in the silence
The Silence is home
My sanctuary
Sanctimony
It builds and breaks me
The silence
But it Beeps

Tick in my heart
Out there
Like the hot breaths of a terrestrial in the sea

It beeps
But I
I want it to stop
The Silence finally precedes me.

This is about my suicidal thoughts becoming louder and louder until I tried to commit. (the ticking is the thoughts). It's the growing unease I felt going about my day in silent anguish until i finally wanted it to end. It was if time was ticking for me and that I shouldn't be there.
