Ocean

At the edge of the atlantic ocean

The sunlight reflects bright baby-blue ocean

Leaving only a sliver of tan peaking over the horizon

as the waves move towards the land

The waves that shout a pattern

The lines that they trace, they quickly erase

At the edge of each wave is the hectic sound of the waves crashing against the shore leaving a warm hug

Desert

The desert Is very dried up.

Every step you take your feet sink through the hot sand.

Feel burning your skin from the shining light

You feel your throat drying up

The sand melts into your feet every step you take

Beige is all your eyes see against the beating sun

Rainforest

Plants and large trees fill the land

The trees shuffle in the wind

You hear quiet noises of animals in the distance

Plants evaporites damp water,

the feeling of moist water

 drizzle, drizzle

Soft breeze  stroke the leaves

Olive green surrounding it

Rain falls from the dim heavens

Monkeys swinging from tree to tree

Mountains

Highest peak

Blizzards in the dead of night

Stars glisten from the heavens above

The highest peaks of the Earth watch over us.

The author's comments:

We are in creative writing and our teacher told us about this project. We collaborated well as a group and shared all our ideas in this project. We wanted to add different senses of wonder to show different pieces in nature. This project brought the team members in touch with nature by writing out our experiences with nature, bringing us together by connecting over our nature experiences.
