I am Mother Nature
I am the flowers and the trees,
the ocean and the breeze.
I am your home.
When you are feeling down, look around and you will find me.
You will find me in the puffy clouds, floating through the sky.
You will find me in a glittering garden, full of buzzing bees and baby birds.
You will find me in every tree, from the strong trunk to the green-painted leaves.
You will find my beauty in every corner of the earth.
I will always be there for you, always care for you.
You are my child.
And I love all my children.
I love my flowers and my trees.
I love my animals and my bees.
And most of all, I love you.

Hello,
My name is Jordyn and I am in 11th grade. I wrote a children’s book called “I am Mother Nature”, to encourage young children to appreciate nature, find comfort in nature, and protect our Mother Nature. My book is currently on display in Divine Park in NJ, as part of a Mindfulness Family Nature Walk that I created. I have invited children and adults to follow a meditative path through the park, and read my book along the way. I hope you enjoy it! .
