A Battle Won
For every soul lost to the pain,
There's one who rises, once again,
Who finds the light and breaks the chain,
And lives to love and laugh and gain.
So let us stand with hearts unbroken,
And fight this war with words unspoken,
With love and care and firm resolve,
And never let our spirits dissolve.
For though the road may be long and hard,
And though the demons may seem unmarred,
We'll find the strength to rise above,
And heal the wounds with endless love.
The pursuit of happiness, a battle won,
When hearts and minds are joined as one,
When we stand tall and face the sun,
And find the hope that's just begun.
