Because Bookworms Become Butterflies
A book is literally everything,
There is so much joy it will bring.
From entertainment day and night,
When things are dark, they give you light.
A book can take you anywhere,
From ancient Greece to a simple fair.
To see the world, no need for flights,
For a book can show you marvelous sights.
This object is like a second friend,
So much knowledge it will lend.
From making you laugh to making you cry,
There are many lessons from books we can tie.
A book teaches you, whether fiction or fact,
In return, you should keep it intact.
Words can not express how joyous one can be,
To hold a book, that sight to see!
This object is worth so much treasure,
And is the entrance to the land of pleasure.
To bookworms out there, you know what I say,
And if you haven’t befriended a book, you should give it a day.
