From the Monster
Hi, Victor
I don’t want to be created…
Your endless desire and greed is the creator of my body.
Blood and bone,
Loneliness and tragedy,
You,
Other people,
I hate them all.
You thought you gave those cold bodies that composed me a warm life.
No.
You gave those cold bodies an even more bitterly cold second life.
Rejection, violence, and abandonment…
I hate them all.
I always want to blame you for giving a terrifying appearance.
Why can’t you give me a beautiful look like Adam?
Why can’t you give me a beautiful partner like Eve?
I learn to have a kind heart and noble character,
I have done nothing,
But I am still being expelled.
Ugliness and hypocrisy,
I hate them all.
Victor,
I wish you had never created me
From those lifeless decaying flesh and bones.
