Stuffed Turkey
Leaves begin falling,
Frost crawls up the tree.
Winter is calling,
The turkeys are free.
Gobblers start fanning their feathers,
Hens exploring the vast backyard,
Turkeys are on their endeavors.
How could being poultry be hard?
The fox runs fast, like the glimpse of a torch.
As a family, the turkeys are stronger.
The hen is scared so she sleeps on the porch;
All she wants is to live a day longer.
