Candid
I stage scornful eyes in the pictures that I take,
eyes that fix the camera, not the subject, in place
Eyes that find out, that crease, catch, cut, and rend,
framed between the fingers of their hand on my lens
Meticulously posed, faux-candid, the unamused--
I must so love, then, the state of being accused!
