Disappearing
I’m stuck in a unknown place matted with brown,
scratchy yet snug surrounded by the walls.
Trying to fly, my wings don’t move,
my body stops reacting to my thoughts.
Confused but calm at the same time,
scared although still unafraid.
A voice from above shrouded in luminosity light of the sun,
surrounds the light cornflower blue they call the sky.
The looming silhouette speaks soothing, reassuring words,
make me forget about the imminent danger that approaches.
Everything slowly engulfs in darkness.
I take one last look outside the package.
Darker than before, everything becomes clear.
From darkness clarity emerges, and I take one last gaze,
beyond the void.
