Backwards
Sdrawkcab, my life seems
Backwards, seems my life
I enjoy the Darkness,
While others long for Light
It appears as if my life is regressing,
An adult, but still a child?
Had to mature quick,
There was no time to smile
And now as I approach adulthood,
They want me to “be a kid?”
I do not understand their intentions,
Or why they did
Ask me to “grow up,”
Contradicting themselves
As my life’s an earthquake,
Going up and down, things falling
From the shelves, I no longer
Even frown
Backwards
That’s life, I suppose
Nothing but drawbacks, and strife,
I don’t know

This poem is about feelings of disorder, and congruence.
Hence why the format, and words seem somewhat "free-verse."
(Also note that "drawbacks" is an anagram for "backwards." Kind of fitting, and funny, right?)
