Heavy to Light
Dark, stratocumulus clouds
Disseminate in the sky
Puts a stupor haze of gray everywhere
Making my weariness even more unbearable
Low rumbling,
Downpour
Against the roof
Combine with flashes of lights
My drowsy gaze landed upon the couch
As wind blew
The sounds on the roof slowed
Calming and
Began to drizzle
As I slumber on the cushions
Water droplets
Puts a mist on everything
Pitter-patter
On the window
A light sound of beat
Like a lullaby
That puts me to sleep
