An untitled document
In the snowy field,
Covered with white, expanding,
Until nowhere to be seen
Beyond the horizons, calling,
Calling for me, I stand
No snowball fights,
No snowmen, nor
Sledding, snow angels, even footsteps.
No one’s red-blushed faces and frostbitten noses,
No laughter, no tears, but
Forgotten.
Just me and the snow, the
Fresh snow.
As bright, as pale, as white,
As the blank paper in front of me,
As blank as a brand new document,
Untitled
Untitled,
Unused,
Untrampled,
Undisturbed,
Untitled document
I stare at the words that stare at me back.
.kcab em ta erats taht sdrow eht ta erats I
They’re clearly there,
Daring me, even mocking me, yet –
I cannot bring myself to erase it.
To hit delete.
