it has gotten better before, therefore it will be better again.

With my translucent wings, I'll fly to Blighty

Madness-tinged eyes wide as daisy

A symphony only faes know, oh love

Hopeful hearts flickering in the dark

Oh, pour me a wine on a goblet shaped-like your mouth

A sealing kiss and enveloping arms

In the novel Garden of Eden, an eternity of a pretty life

May God bless our sacred mythical elopment, hands intertwined

I'll lure the mortals on our ring, dance 'til their feet bleed

You can flash your stupid smile and tell me I'm dazzling

We'll be forever young, souls bind by Peter's pixie dust

Osculating like a full eclipse, thy freckles as the constellations

Howling wolves in the dark, full bright moon on the other side

Watch as the witch mix her cauldron full of fancy spices

And no, I did not read her scrolls and put a spell on you

Their spiraling minds will be clarified, staring to the love, a one of a kind

If I have hysteria in the late 1800s, will you cure me?

We're timeless, baby; I know where we are headed

Ancient spirits on the relics prophesied us:

“Ink from the hands, entertainment in just a tap. Laced.”

The murals carved on your luminous skin

The nevi on my gates of heaven

Matchmade by the stars raised by our scars

Elves and gnomes offering us an unearthly talisman and a temple full of pretty charms

Let the embers fly whilst we do our ritual

A sacrificial lamb singing as she burns down

In Hoia Baciu Forest, supernaturals glimmering for us

“Praise the Lord for such beautiful love!,” They chanted and so we did

In that tiny chalet of us, you'll find my classic showpieces

There, you'll hold them gently--art staring at an art

Bring me a labradorite, I'll kiss every flaws you believe you have

Fireflies joining as we waltz in our arc of mushrooms, so divine!

My sun is in Aries, your moon is in Leo

Invisible strings tangling with the hominids

Misty mornings with you, please?

My husband and literature--two things that I make lives for

Hold my hand, chime thine bells

Let's fly away from the whispers that hurt our enchanted ears

An anthology full of folklores

Passed through curious tongues, talking about us

No, don't you dare look back!

For we'll create our own wonderland

No madness, no lost boys. Devil-free.

A reality straight from fantasy books with good ending we'll be buried in.

The author's comments:

This poem is about a man I love struggling with mental health issues and the future I envision having with him once the stars aligned. The Garden of Eden, wonderland, talks about the reality I'm hoping we have. Despite of us being haunted and hunted down, we'll remain strong with supports and each other.

Oh, to be properly in love. Tehe. ;D
