Joys of Life
The heart, surrounded, glared at by judgemental eyes.
The mind, worried, confused.
The heart, forbidden to speak.
Finally, the morrow approaches.
The dawn has come, the unaccepting eyes have subsided and they have been replaced by accepting kind eyes.
Finally, the heart may speak without fear of persecution.
The sun has risen on a bastion of happiness, even if the future awaits a somber morrow. The joy will now cease.
As long as I have thee, any and all pain will vanish.
All suffering soothed away.
As long as you are there the morrow will be a bliss of elation.
I have no one to thank more than I must thank you.
